Our robust training programme will prepare you to become a competent, independent and all-rounded specialist in Anatomic Pathology, capable of integrating clinical medicine with changes at the organ, tissue, cellular and even subcellular and molecular level.
Pathology rotations take place at SingHealth hospitals, namely Singapore General Hospital (SGH), KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital (KKH) and Changi General Hospital (CGH). These hospitals have diverse patient populations that offer you well-rounded training perspectives in pathological practice.

Dynamic Pathological Training Experience
Residents who have completed and exited from Residency are required to take an examination in the next year of training. Successful attempt of the examination allows the Resident to be appointed as Registrar/Fellow. After completing a two-years of fellowship training in Anatomy Pathology, they become eligible to sit for exit examinations that lead towards specialist registration as Pathologist with Singapore Medical Council.
Clinician Scientist Residency Track
Currently, the Pathology Residency Programme does not offer the Clinician Scientist Track. However, applicants interested to pursue a career in Pathology research should contact the Programme Director’s office directly.
