The National Medical Excellence Awards (NMEA) is a national award that recognises clinicians and healthcare professionals for their outstanding contributions in advancement of healthcare, improving patient safety and quality of care.

Professor Chan Choong Meng was awarded the National Outstanding Clinician Educator Award for his outstanding contributions to the education and training of clinicians and healthcare staff, and exemplary support in developing skills and competencies to uphold high standards of care and treatment. National Outstanding Clinician Educator Award 2018

The National Medical Excellence Award (NMEA) is a national award that recognises healthcare professionals for their outstanding contributions in advancing healthcare, improving the standards of patient safety and quality of care.

Assoc Prof Lim was awarded the National Outstanding Clinical Educator Award at the NMEA Awards Ceremony. As Deputy Group Director, Education (Graduate), Assoc Prof Lim plays a key role in developing postgraduate medical education and training, while fostering a conducive environment for teaching and learning in SingHealth.

President's Award for Nurses 2018 Winner
The President's Award for Nurses is the highest accolade in the nursing profession. This national award is given in recognition of nurses who have made significant contributions to the profession and the community, while also displaying outstanding competency, leadership and innovation.

As Chair, SingHealth Academy College of Clinical Nursing, Ms Ng shapes and drives strategies for Nursing training and education across SingHealth.

Established in 1987, the President's Science and Technology Awards are the highest honours conferred upon exceptional research scientists and engineers in Singapore for their excellent achievements in science and technology. Fulbright US-ASEAN Visiting Scholar Award 2017
Launched in 2012, the Fulbright US -ASEAN Visiting Scholar Award is one of the most prestigious scholarships in the world and is offers competitive, merit-based grants for international educational exchange for students, scholars, teachers, professionals, scientists and artists. It aims to deepen people to people engagement and strengthen education ties between the US and ASEAN region. 2017 marks the 5th year of the programme with scholars from over 10 ASEAN member states being awarded scholarships to carry out 3-4 month research at US  universities across a wide range of subjects.
