Your Learning Experience

The Cardiology Senior Residency Programme at NHCS, CGH and SKH is a structured three-and-a-half years programme that will equip you with the medical knowledge, clinical skills and experience to become a competent cardiologist.  The training curriculum comprises an excellent mix of clinical activities, didactic lectures and research opportunities in a conducive educational environment

You can choose to gain insights into subspecialties such as:

  • Invasive Diagnostic and Interventional Cardiology
  • Cardiac Electrophysiology and Pacing
  • Non-Invasive Cardiac Imaging, Echocardiography and Nuclear Cardiology
  • Heart Failure Programme
  • Adult Congenital Heart Disease
  • Cardiovascular Rehabilitation and Preventive Cardiology

Residents interested in a Clinician-Scientist (CS) pathway will work with an established research mentor. Rotations will be tailored to the specific research requirements of the Resident and mentor and may include participation in a Masters of Clinical Investigation (MCI) programme.
