Pulmonary hypertension (PH) is an often under-recognised condition that if untreated, portends much morbidity and mortality. PH encompasses a wide-spectrum of disease subtypes with each group having different characteristics, prognosis and management plans. To many medical professionals, this disease is oftentimes a mystery, impeding its recognition and treatment. This symposium aims to provide pertinent clinical pearls on the diagnosis, work-up and management of the various subtypes of PH, and clarify the “mysteries” surrounding this disease.
