Support Staff Education
Allied Health Support (AHS) staff form a significant group within the healthcare landscape; contributing to a more efficient and patient-friendly healthcare delivery process. In SingHealth, there are more than 1,500 AHS staff.
With healthcare delivery becoming more complex due to emerging issues such as an ageing population, increasing healthcare workforce shortage and changing healthcare models, the role of AHS staff in providing adequate patient care is becoming indispensable. To develop future-ready AHS staff, CAH aims to provide suitable training programmes and educational initiatives to enhance the technical knowledge and skillset of AHS staff.
Upcoming Programmes:
Duke-NUS – SNEC Basic Certificate in Ophthalmic Technicians
SGH Therapy Support Associate Programme
