Undergraduate Education
The CAH Undergraduate Education Unit was established to serve four functions:
Build systems and processes that ensure the undergraduate clinical training programmes are of high quality.
Promote faculty development and establish a support structure for clinical educators; establish a registry that tracks training, to ensure quality outcomes and continuous improvement.
Increase the interprofessional and inter-institutional collaboration of undergraduate clinical educators, by providing a common platform for interaction and resource sharing.
Serve as the primary contact for clinical attachment requests by international, non-PECT (Pre-employment Clinical Training) funded allied health students. The unit will provide administrative assistance in the application and enrolment process.
Clinical Attachments
Each year, more than 1,200 allied health students from different academic institutions come to learn at our various SingHealth's hospitals and institutions. As the largest healthcare training ground in Singapore, SingHealth is committed to providing the best clinical experience and training to our Allied Health students, both locally and internationally.
SingHealth offers high quality training to undergraduate Allied Health students in the form of clinical attachments. These clinical attachments can either be observational or hands-on. Our clinical staff provide supervision to students who are pursuing undergraduate and entry-level graduate studies in areas including, but not limited to:
Diagnostic Radiography
Medical Social Work
Medical Laboratory Technology
Music Therapy
Occupational Therapy
Physiotherapy
Pharmacy
Podiatry
Psychology
Radiation Therapy
Respiratory Therapy
Speech Therapy
To learn more about clinical attachments and how to apply, contact
