Starting Out on Assisted Reproduction

Since the birth of the world's first test-tube baby in 1978 (Louise Brown), there has been a tremendous advance in the investigation and diagnosis of infertility, and in the development of treatment procedures. The dynamics of in-vitro fertilisation are often not covered in detail in traditional postgraduate obstetrics and gynaecological curriculum.

This course will walk you through the entire IVF cycle including both male and female evaluation. We have a comprehensive program covering the clinical aspects and the science behind Assisted Reproduction. Our faculty consists of experienced Consultants and Scientists from Centre for Assisted Reproduction (CARE) at SGH and other local institutions. In addition, we have renowned faculty from across the world to enrich your learning experience.

This course would benefit individuals who are starting out on IVF; who are keen for a strong grounding on scientific principles and those who wish to exchange ideas and take back some tips from the experts. This course would also benefit residents and those in training to have a deeper understanding of in-vitro fertilisation.
