MSK US Intervention, Sonoanatomy and Joint Dissection Course

This highly interactive 2-day training programme provides candidates with an opportunity to perform ultrasound guided injections and biopsies on cadaveric specimens within a small group setting; with hands-on instruction from multidisciplinary experts in interventional techniques and musculoskeletal anatomy.

Course Objective

To perform ultrasound (US)-guided diagnostic and therapeutic interventions on fresh frozen, non-embalmed cadavers. The focus will be on joint injection, synovial biopsy and barbotage
To improve the understanding of anatomical structures through sonoanatomy and anatomical dissection

Target Audience

Rheumatologists with intermediate to advanced experience in MSK US and routinely using US-guided interventions in clinical practice.

Please provide the following information as a pre-requisite for your application (i) Brief outline of your ultrasound experience, including number of years performing US (ii) Certification and/or relevant courses attended, e.g. EULAR US courses or equivalent.
