Advanced Colorectal Surgery Masterclass and Hands-on Workshop


This highly interactive three-day training programme will provide candidates with an opportunity to practice advanced procedures in the treatment of colorectal cancers. It brings together renowned world experts who will impart their skills and knowledge via interactive live surgery, cadaveric hands-on sessions and didactic lectures. Participants will have the opportunity to familiarise themselves with procedural skills and mastery of anatomy in a safe environment and with expert proctoring.


Course Objective

Provide high quality masterclass and hands-on cadaveric workshops in advanced colorectal concepts: 

  • Transanal Total Mesorectal Excision (TaTME)
  • Complete Mesocolic Excision (CME)
  • Pelvic Lymph Node Dissection (PLND)

Deliver a high value learning experience with live surgery and hands-on interactive sessions


Target Audience

  • Colorectal Specialists
  • Surgeons with exposure to Colorectal Surgery and would like to learn advanced techniques and skills in treatment of colorectal cancers
  • Specialist nurses interested in surgical and nursing aspects of advanced colorectal cancer surgery
