The SingHealth Internal Medicine Residency Programme is a three-year programme that prepares you for a career in Internal Medicine at a tertiary institution or in clinical practice within an academic institution.
SingHealth offers some of the finest training opportunities in Internal Medicine, with training taking place mainly at two sites – Singapore General Hospital (SGH) and Changi General Hospital (CGH).
Rotations may also include Sengkang General Hospital (SKH), National Cancer Centre Singapore (NCCS), National Heart Centre Singapore (NHCS), and Tan Tock Seng Hospital (TTSH), all well-established national referral centres in Singapore, which will greatly enrich your training experience.

Clinician Scientist Residency Track
Residents who wish to develop themselves in the area of clinical research have the opportunity to pursue research through the Clinician Scientist Track. As Medicine is an Academic Clinical Programme with four established career tracks for doctors (clinician-practitioner, clinician-investigator, clinician-educator and clinician-administrator), Residents can pursue a clinician-investigator career should they have the aptitude for research.
