CRAFD

The Centre for Resident and Faculty Development (CRAFD) was set up to support competency development and initiatives in education and technology within Residency.

CRAFD's Core Mission

• To develop SingHealth Residents and PGY1s in ACGME-I/JCST generic competencies, in accordance to accreditation requirements, for independent practice as a physician.
• To partner with the Academic Medicine Education Institute (AMEI) in developing Faculty competencies in education and nurturing Residents as educators.
• To provide Technologies to support and enhance education initiatives, administration and operations.

CRAFD offers courses to Residents, Faculty and Administrators. Courses for Residents are mainly focus on competencies required in the clinical environment such as: Interpersonal & Communication Skills (ICS), Practice-Based Learning & Improvement (PBLI), Professionalism (Prof) and Systems-Based Practice (SBP). Our courses are available in these formats:

• Class-based learning (Face-to-face or Virtual)
• Self-paced e-learning (on SingHealth e-learning platform)
