Mr KOH Chee Wai

Mr Koh Chee Wai has been working as a Medical Social Worker since 1995 upon graduation from National University of Singapore. He received the Health Manpower Development Plan (HMDP) award to study psychiatric rehabilitation in Boston University. Upon his return, he worked with IMH mental health professionals and pioneered a few rehabilitation services. Together with some leaders in the mental health field, he established the Association of Psychiatric Rehabilitation Singapore (A.P.R.S.) and also brought in Certified Psychiatric Rehabilitation Practitioner (C.P.R.P.) credential training. Having extensive experience working with individuals facing a wide spectrum of mental health issues, he moved on to the Singapore General Hospital and currently manages the hospital-wide Peer Support programme. He also provides counselling to staff who have been involved in critical incidents. Mr Koh isa certified trainer in Critical Incident Stress Management (CISM) and Master trainer in CPRP credential. He also sits in the management committee of APRS and LeJia Society.
