Dr Jeremy Ng is Head and Senior Consultant, Department of General Surgery and Director, Trauma Service, at Singapore General Hospital. He is also, the Director of SingHealth Advance Trauma Life Support Training Centre. Apart from his sub-specialty interest in Trauma Surgery, he also performs elective thyroid and parathyroid surgery. He graduated in 1998 from the University College London, University of London. He attained his MMed(Singapore) in 2004 and thereafter, his FRCS (Edinburgh) in 2008. He was an honorary clinical fellow at the Department of Academic Surgery, Royal London Hospital and did his HMDP in Trauma Surgery at the Sunnybrook Health Sciences Center based in Toronto, Canada. He is part of the physician faculty for the SingHealth General Surgery Residency Program at SGH and is an examiner for the FRCS (Edinburgh) exit exams.
