The SingHealth Orthopaedic Surgery Residency Programme offers comprehensive and rigorous training with a high-volume workload.

Residents learn from leading experts, gaining robust clinical judgment and resilience. Hands-on experience with diverse cases, from trauma to elective surgeries, has equipped me with a well-rounded skill set. The faculty consists of giants in their respective fields with a genuine interest in teaching and imparting their knowledge and skills to the trainees. The programme is supported by a team of fully dedicated Programme Executives (PEs) looking after the welfare and training of the residents.

The structured programme, wide exposure across all Singhealth institutions, and the high surgical case volume allow sufficient exposure to all the different subspecialties for us to develop into confident and well-rounded Orthopaedic Surgeons.

The continuous learning experience and challenges provides a never-ending stimulus in our residency journey, preparing us to be the best versions of ourselves that we can be. And most importantly, the friendships that we have forged along the way made the experience ever more memorable!

Working at SingHealth means we have ample hands-on opportunities as practicing surgeons, access to cutting-edge robotics and biologics, and a team of dedicated mentors who are always approachable and supportive. We work extremely hard, but we also enjoy very enjoyable department gatherings. Overall, I highly recommend the SingHealth Orthopaedic Residency as a well-rounded training ground, where I have found many friends among both peers and seniors.
