As embodied in the hospital's vision and mission, SingHealth aims to aid our population in keeping and living well with partnering communities and keeping patients at the heart of all we do. This has been exemplified in the core principles of Geriatric Medicine during our residency training with sufficient depth and breadth of training to prepare us to aid our older adults in the face of the aging wave.

My seniors and peers suggested to start a series of regular tutorials that could bring residents from different years together, and review topics under the guidance of faculty members. This was implemented within a year with the hard work of all involved. I am sure that with continuous feedback, this can lead to better learning for all future residents.

I am also grateful that the faculty are very proactive in offering guidance and teaching outside of structured teaching hours, especially in the lead-up to the examinations. While doing so, they are looking out for our welfare as well. I could not ask for better mentors!
