Your Learning Experience

​The Endocrinology Senior Residency Programme at SingHealth is a structured three-year programme that will equip you with the medical knowledge, interpersonal skills, professional attitudes, and practical competence required to function as clinical endocrinologists. The first two years will be ACGME-I accredited. The programme requires you to rotate through the two teaching hospitals, namely SGH and CGH.

You will have the opportunity to diagnose and manage the full spectrum of patients with endocrine disorders. You will also be expected to rotate through subspecialty clinics including:

• Diabetes in Pregnancy clinic
• Young Adult Diabetes clinic
• Obesity clinic
• Thyroid Fine Needle Aspiration clinic
• Osteoporosis clinic
• Transplant Endocrinology clinic
• Male Hypogonadism clinic
  

Other rotations include Paediatric Endocrinology, Reproductive Endocrinology, Nuclear Medicine and Pathology Laboratory sessions

As part of the cross-cluster rotation scheme, you will be participating in short rotations in other hospitals in Singapore for broader experience in endocrinology training.
