Your Learning Experience

The Endocrinology Senior Residency Programme at SingHealth is a structured three-year programme designed to equip you with the medical knowledge, interpersonal skills, professional attitudes, and practical competencies required to function as a clinical endocrinologist. The programme requires you to rotate through the three teaching hospitals: SGH, CGH, and SKH.

You will have the opportunity to diagnose and manage the full spectrum of patients with endocrine disorders. You will also be expected to rotate through subspecialty clinics including:

• Diabetes in Pregnancy clinic
• Young Adult Diabetes clinic
• Obesity clinic
• Thyroid Fine Needle Aspiration clinic
• Osteoporosis clinic
• Transplant Endocrinology clinic
• Male Hypogonadism clinic
  

Other rotations include Paediatric Endocrinology, Reproductive Endocrinology, Nuclear Medicine and Pathology Laboratory sessions.

As part of the cross-cluster rotation scheme, you will be participating in short rotations in other hospitals in Singapore for broader experience in endocrinology training.
