2. What documents are required for the application?

Required documents typically include your CV, personal statement, medical school transcripts, letters of recommendation, and any certificates of previous training or experiences relevant to Anaesthesiology. Please refer to the application portal for full instructions.

The selection process includes a review of your application and documents, followed by interviews with the residency programme leadership and faculty. Selection is based on a combination of clinical experience and work-based evaluations, scholarly achievements, and demonstration of commitment to specialty training.

4. What should I expect during the interview?

The interview may include a mix of clinical scenario questions, behavioral questions and discussions about your interest and experience in Anaesthesiology. It is an opportunity for us to assess your suitability for the programme and for you to ask any questions you might have.

Applicants are encouraged to review the programme details on our website, attend the annual SingHealth Career Day for Medical Students and Junior Doctors which usually happens in June or July, and connect with current residents and faculty in the programme to gain insights into the residency experience.
