About the Programme

The SingHealth Endocrinology Senior Residency Programme aims to provide you with the advanced training and experience you need to become a consultant endocrinologist.

You will be given the opportunity to diagnose and manage patients with a wide range of endocrine disorders. These include: diabetes mellitus, obesity, osteoporosis and disorders of the pituitary, thyroid, parathyroid, adrenal glands and gonads, and many more.

The learning of endocrinology permeates every aspect of the hospital setting. Beyond attending to patients admitted under the inpatient endocrinology service, you will acquire the skills needed to provide endocrinology consultations for a diverse patient population within the hospital. Furthermore, your training will involve extensive exposure to outpatient management of endocrine disorders.

We greatly value individuals who are good team players, motivated, diligent and dedicated to clinical excellence and patient care. A prerequisite for entry into our programme is the successful completion of the MRCP (UK) examination, or equivalent.

If Endocrinology appeals to you, read on to find out more about our programme.
