Life Support Course for Nurses - Provider (Certification)

The course is to equip participants with:

• Critical background knowledge pertinent to the care of collapsed patients in hospitals and clinics, especially cardiac arrest patients

• In-depth knowledge and skills in cardiopulmonary resuscitation

• Knowledge and skills in the treatment of ischaemic heart disease and cardiac arrhythmias

At the end of this course, participants will learn about:

• BCLS Update and Chain of Survival

• Acute Myocardial Infarction

• Airway Management

• Electrical Therapy

• Arrhythmias Treatment Algorithms

• Drugs and Drug Delivery Systems

• Organisation of Resuscitation

• Post Resuscitation Care

• Cardiac Arrest in Special Circumstances

Target Audience

Registered Nurses with a valid BCLS certificate by Singapore Resuscitation and First Aid Council (SRFAC) accredited training centre

1.5 Days (8am to 5pm; 8am to 12 noon)
