Wellness begins with Healthy Habits

We often make resolutions with enthusiasm to participate in some type of activity that will improve and protect our mental well-being. Unfortunately, for many of us, we often fall back onto old habits and patterns as our efforts start to diminish with time.

During the first day of our workshop, we will examine our day-to-day habits and activities, and explore what small steps we can apply towards a direction that will be more beneficial for our mental well-being. These activities include, but are not limited to, those that promote our alertness, improve the effectiveness of our breaks, enable us to be present for our loved ones, and even facilitates us having quality sleep. Each participant will end the first session with their own tailor-made plan of activities for changes they value making in the coming weeks.

Participants will have the opportunity to put their plan into practice during the time in-between the two sessions.

During the second day of our workshop, we will review our successes as well as evaluate the difficulties we encountered with executing the plan. Participants will be invited to share their experiences and with the guidance of the facilitator learn how they may address their difficulties and maintain their successes for the long-term.
