Assoc Prof Gan Wee Hoe

A/Prof Gan is CEO of SingHealth Community Hospitals, which comprises a group of three community hospitals in Singapore. In addition to his healthcare leadership role, he continues his clinical practice in Occupational Medicine at the Singapore General Hospital. 

A/Prof Gan is active in undergraduate and postgraduate training in Occupational Medicine, and has authored scientific papers and textbook chapters in occupational medicine. He sits on several taskforces and committees convened by Singapore’s Ministry of Health and Ministry of Manpower to develop policies and best practices in occupational health and safety. These include the Multi-Agency Workplace Safety & Health Taskforce (MAST) and the national Workplace Safety & Health Council (WSHC). He also serves as President of the College of Public Health and Occupational Physicians, Academy of Medicine, Singapore. 

For his significant contributions to the science and practice of occupational medicine, he was conferred the Honorary Fellowship of the Faculty of Occupational Medicine, Royal College of Physicians (London) in 2022.
