Dr. Jared Ng

Dr. Jared Ng is the Founder and Medical Director of Connections Mind Health, bringing over 20 years of clinical expertise in psychiatry. He has led a distinguished career in mental health, previously serving as the Programme Director of community mental health and crisis response programmes, as well as Consultant-in-Charge of the Child and Adolescent Inpatient Psychiatric Service at the Institute of Mental Health (IMH).

A leader in his field, Dr. Ng has played key roles in shaping mental health care in Singapore. He was the founding Chief of the Department of Emergency & Crisis Care at IMH and contributed to improving mental health services for migrant workers through Project Dawn, a collaboration with the Ministry of Manpower.

His experience spans caring for diverse populations across various age groups, with global experience that includes work at Boston Children’s Hospital and a war hospital in Afghanistan.
