Andrew Newmark has been with Marriott International for over 30 years, now serving as Chief Human Resources Officer.

He is responsible for the HR function across the APAC region, covering 580+ hotels, 22 countries and over 85,000 associates. In 2016 Marriott acquired Starwood, the largest M&A within the hotel industry, making Marriott the largest hotel company globally. In addition to his APAC HR responsibilities, Andrew played a lead role in Change Management and HR Deployment in the pre-and post-acquisition phases.

Andrew's passion lies in the critical role culture plays in creating and nurturing the employee experience and contributing to the success of the business. Under his watch, Marriot International has introduced cross-training to increase flexibility and engagement as well as a breadth of wellbeing programs.
