Assoc Prof Ng Heng Joo is currently a senior consultant and Head of the Department of Haematology, Singapore General Hospital (SGH). He is an Adjunct Associate Professor with the Duke–National University of Singapore (NUS) School of Medicine, senior lecturer with the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, NUS and a National Examiner in Internal Medicine for the Ministry of Health Singapore. After graduating from NUS in 1993, Dr Ng practiced in the Malaysian state of Sarawak before training in Haematology at SGH. He attained his specialist accreditation in 2004 and has subspecialty and research interest in thrombosis and haemostasis.
