Dr Choo Su Pin is a Senior Consultant, Deputy Head and Chief of the Gastrointestinal Cancer Service in the Division of Medical Oncology at the National Cancer Centre Singapore (NCCS). She is co-director of the Comprehensive Liver Cancer Clinic at NCCS and chair of the SingHealth Cancer Service Line for Liver Cancer. She has fellowships from the Royal College of Physicians, UK and the Academy of Medicine, Singapore. She trained in Gastrointestinal Oncology at NCCS and completed a one year fellowship at UCSF Comprehensive Cancer Center.
Dr Choo’s primary specialty is in medical oncology, with sub-specialties in colorectal, hepato-pancreato-biliary, upper gastrointestinal, and peritoneal-based malignancies. She was a co-founding director of the Experimental Cancer Treatment Unit at NCCS and is now the Chair of the Clinical Trials Steering Committee at NCCS and Adjunct Principal Investigator at the SingHealth Investigational Medicine Unit. She has been competitive in research grants and has received government awarded research grants in hepatobiliary cancers. She holds the positions of Adjunct Associate Professor, SingHealth Duke-NUS Oncology Academic Clinic Programme, Duke-NUS Medical School Singapore and Adjunct Associate Professor, Department of Medicine, Yong Loo LinSchool of Medicine, National University of Singapore where she does both research mentorship and clinical teaching.
