The SingHealth Duke-NUS Institute of Medical Simulation (SIMS) works with local and global partners to develop multidisciplinary and interprofessional simulation training. These collaborations enable clinicians to share best practices and enhance clinical training to address evolving healthcare challenges as well as raise industry standards.
"The Ministry of Health (MOH) Emergency Preparedness & Response Division has deepened our collaboration with SIMS in the past 2 years through regular and breakthrough courses for members of the Disaster Site Medical Command. We enjoy a fantastic working relationship with SIMS, who have continually supported our team with timely and relevant training."

Emergency Preparedness & Response Division, Ministry of Health, Singapore
"The Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) has been collaborating with SingHealth since 2012 and these collaborations have grown to the point whereby we've signed a formal MOU in 2017 between SCDF and SingHealth for education and research to enhance training and education for pre-hospital care providers.
The programmes have grown from strength to strength and we have created many new skills workshops and trainings with SIMS, such as customising ACLS training for paramedics, cadaver training for prehospital skills and educational workshops in research skills, moulage, simulation training development. The facilities and faculty are the best in the region and definitely rival similar training centres around the world!"
