Your Career Prospects & Development

As an Associate Consultant, you can choose to practice in a tertiary academic medical centres in Singapore General Hospital (SGH), KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital (KKH), Changi General Hospital (CGH), and regional health care institution at Sengkang General Hospital (SKH), or enrol in a clinical fellowship programme in Paediatric Emergency Medicine with KKH Children Emergency Medicine. 

As a Consultant Emergency Physician, there will also be opportunities to specialise in areas like Emergency Cardiac Care, Emergency Trauma Care, Disaster Medicine, Medical Toxicology and others.

As you gain more experience, you will be expected to provide organisational and administrative leadership for emergency departments.
