Residents' Committee Initiatives

The Residents' Committee has kick started several initiatives since its inception:

SingHealth Hackathon
The inaugural SingHealth Hackathon was organised by the Residents' Committee as a platform to incubate ideas that enhances patient safety and inspires improvements to the healthcare system. This biennial event aims to provide all healthcare professionals across SingHealth and medical students an opportunity to collaborate, design and build new ideas and solutions to improve patient care. Student Internship Programme (SIP) Bootcamp
The SIP Bootcamp is a yearly event organised by the Residents' Committee to engage and equip medical students with practical skills to become effective PGY1s. Click here to learn more about the SIP Bootcamp. 

Performance at Annual SingHealth Long Service Award Ceremony
The Residents' Committee is proud to be part of this yearly SingHealth event that recognises the service and contributions of senior clinicians and staff. At the ceremony, Residents have the opportunities to put up lively song or dance performances which are always well-received by the guests.

SingHealth Residency Year-End Party
Organised by the Residents' Committee, the annual SingHealth Residency Year-End Party gathers Residents and Faculty together for an evening of fun and bonding away from work as they celebrate the year end with SingHealth's very own Residency Pageant, games and prizes.
