Dear colleagues and friends,

After a two-year hiatus, we are pleased to welcome you in-person at the 5^th SingHealth Nursing and Advanced Practice Nurse (APN) Conference 2023 from 19 to 21 October! This year, we are also privileged to collaborate with the Ministry of Health (MOH) Singapore to play host to the 26^th Singapore-Malaysia Nursing Conference to reconnect nursing professionals and healthcare providers in Singapore and regionally. 

Over the past three years, the COVID-19 pandemic has significantly challenged our way of life, but it has also brought about windows of opportunities for change in the way we live and work. Not only has the pandemic accelerated the digital adoption to transform and change the way healthcare is being delivered and taught, it has also prompted us to re-thnk our priorities in life, with greater emphasis being placed on active ageing and healthy living. This is why this year's theme – "Fostering Person-Centred Care: Rediscover, Realign, Reconnect" is a timely one, and in tandem with the national healthcare strategy that focuses on proactive health preservation as well as healthcare innovation and collaboration to build a healthy healthcare workforce. 

At this year's Conference, you can look forward to a series of sharing by renowned healthcare practitioners and industry experts in healthcare innovation and digitalisation, exploring how the use of technologies has transformed the way healthcare and nursing professionals deliver care. The 2.5 days of Conference will also feature a strong line-up of local and international speakers who will discuss the latest healthcare strategies and initiatives within Singapore and Malaysia as well as provide in-person networking opportunities for like-minded nursing professionals to learn from one another to deliver better care.
