In line with the Day 3 Conference theme, “Reconnect & Resilience”, to imbue awareness and encourage Mindfulness Practice & Staff Resilience, Mr Shaheed Mahmud will be sharing on some mindfulness practices that he have reviewed via his Honours thesis, a Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis titled, “Effectiveness on mindfulness-based interventions for psychological distress and PTSD among nurses”.

Mindfulness-Based Interventions include mindfulness-based stress reductions, mindfulness based cognitive therapy, mindfulness-based self-care and resilience, mindfulness-based stretching, and deep breathing exercise. These are some forms of MBIs that nurses can partake in to enhance their mental wellbeing.
