Assistant Nurse Clinician,
Department of Advancing Nursing and Education,
KK Womens and Childrens Hospital
Ms Sandy is an Assistant Nurse Clinician at KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital, she brings with her 13 years of experience in paediatric nursing. While delivering direct patient care has been a fulfilling aspect of her career, her aspiration to nurture and guide fellow nurses has driven her towards the path of nursing education.
In this era, educators need to adopt an innovative mindset to craft bridges to the hearts and minds of new generation of learners. Sandy's dedication led her to conceive the Wild Resilience workshop, which uses games to instil resilience concepts in her participants.
Sandy is the core facilitator of the Wild Resilience workshop, and she has trained a total of 63 trainers across SingHealth. Today, these institutions are conducting the Wild Resilience workshop within their own facilities. Sandy firmly believes that this engaging and unconventional training approach is the way forward, and she is committed to explore and champion this innovative and stimulating mode of facilitation in learning.
