Mr Ivan Boo started his career in the Tourism industry starting with the Singapore Tourism Board then moving on to the Singapore International Convention & Exhibition Centre.  He subsequently joined an International Conference Management Company based in Stockholm, Sweden – Congrex Holdings. He spent two years as the Director of Sales and Marketing for Congrex Singapore and Malaysia. At the turn of the century, Ivan took a giant step forward by starting his own conference management company: INMEET CMS. Through conference management and talking to the academia and researchers, Ivan uncovered his interests in serious games.  This led him to form the Serious Games Association in Singapore. Through the association, Ivan conceptualizes and produces the Serious Games Conference series and the Health Innovation Technology Challenge (HIT Challenge) series from 2012 to 2017. He is currently the President of the Serious Games Association and plays an active role in advocating the use and adoption of games in education, healthcare and adult learning in Singapore and Asia. He has also since developed several serious games projects for Singapore General Hospital and started his own company Serious Games Asia that focuses on game data analytics.
