Ms Chua Mei Tuan is the Family Medicine Advanced Practice Nurse of KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital. She is a registered nurse by training, holder of Master in Nursing, and Advanced Diploma in Gerontology Nursing. She has over 20 years of healthcare experience in nursing. Her clinical interests mainly on women’s health issues such as menopause, osteoporosis, chronic disease, and weight management. She involves in Bone Health Project (osteoporosis community outreach) at nursing homes. In addition to clinical work, Ms Chua is also active in research, education, projects and speaker in conferences and public forums. She serves as pioneer and chairperson of Women’s Health Interest Group “Dynamite Daisies”, organizing education and activities towards Women’s Health.
