Dr Carolyn Keane is the Corporate Nurse Director at Fiona Stanley Fremantle Hospital Group. Carolyn’s background is in Emergency Nursing and Nursing Education, including eight years working within these fields in the United Kingdom. Carolyn completed her PhD in 2016 undertaking research examining hospital-based nurse education service models across Australia. Carolyn has published a variety of journal articles throughout the years and has previously held positions as the State President of the Australian Nurse Teachers Society and for the College of Emergency Nursing Australasia. Carolyn is passionate about the role workforce planning and development plays in supporting frontline nurses and midwives in the delivery of safe patient centred care
