Ms Clara Tai is a registered nurse by profession who is specialised in critical care nursing. With an interest in improving the nursing education, she joined Ngee Ann Polytechnic after 13 years of work in an acute hospital holding the latest post as the Nurse Clinician.

It is coming to be her 10th years in educational service. She is the senior manager for nursing skills cluster who leads the module leaders in the areas of pedagogy, teaching, learning and assessment to ensure relevant and current application of knowledge and skills.

With the ambition to promote new and innovative digital engagement with students for better learning outcomes, she leads the module leaders to develop and immerse the ICT-related learning in nursing skills modules. Together with other like-minded lecturers in School of Health Sciences, she won the Staff Excellence Award in productivity and transformation for embracing next generation ICT-enabled learning to educate large cohorts of students.
