Ms Catherine Anak Medan, Public Health Matron presently working at Family Health Development Division of Ministry of Health Malaysia. Completed basic nursing in 1988 and in 1993 went for post basic in orthopaedic nursing.  She further went for midwifery post basic in 1995, because her interest in public health she went for her Public Health Nursing in 1997 until now. In 1999 - 2001 she further her study in Nursing Degree  with University Malaya. She actively participated in the Nursing management in public health in bringing nurses and nursing towards improving and maintaining quality of care rendered in Primary Healthcare.
