Assoc Prof Zeng Li is a Principle Investigator from Neural Stem Cells Research Lab, NNI and an Associate Professor from Neuroscience and Behavioural Disorders Programme, Duke-NUS Medical School, Singapore. She received her BSc in Biology from Beijing Normal University and completed her PhD in Biochemistry at the University of Glasgow.
Thereafter, she pursued her postdoctoral training in the Signal Transduction group at Institute of Molecular and Cell Biology (IMCB), National University of Singapore. Subsequently, she joined the Developmental Biology group at IMCB, A*STAR as a Research Scientist. Since 2009, she has been managing her own research team at NNI, conducting research to unravel the molecular mechanisms underlying the microRNA-mediated neurogenesis in neurological diseases.
Her work has been published in scientific journals such as Nature Cell Biology, Nature Communications, EMBO Journal, Journal of Cell Biology, Cell Death and Differentiation and eLife.
