Assoc Prof Nagaendran Kandiah is the director of the Dementia and Cognitive Neuroscience programme in NNI. He is also a Clinician Scientist with National Medical Research Council (NMRC) and a Senior consultant Neurologist. His research interests include mild cognitive impairment, Alzheimer’s disease and vascular cognitive impairment.
He has published 130 peer reviewed papers in this area and has created several on-going research projects examining the mechanisms involved in vascular cognitive impairment as well as examining interventional strategies to prevent vascular dementia.
