Assoc Prof Katy Leung is an Associate Professor at Duke-NUS Medical School Singapore, and Senior Consultant in the department of Rheumatology and Immunology (RHI) at the SGH. She is a clinician scientist and currently the head of research in the department of RHI. Dr Leung started her research work in psoriatic arthritis. Her work includes disability and evaluation of measurement instruments in rheumatology. In recent years, her focus has been on the role of inflammation and biomarkers in osteoarthritis.

Assoc Prof Leung serves as associate editor for the Journal of Rheumatology, International Journal of Rheumatic Diseases, Frontiers in Medicine, BMC Rheumatology and Singapore Medical Journal and she is an ad hoc reviewer for numerous medical journals.

She has also been a working group member of several international collaborations, including the Group of Research and Assessment in Psoriasis and Psoriatic Arthritis (GRAPPA) and International Consortium for Health Outcome Measurements (ICHOM) for inflammatory arthritis.
