Dr Diana Chan is presently a consultant in the Department of Pain Medicine in SGH and is also the Director of Pain Services in Sengkang General Hospital. She completed a one-year pain fellowship in Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital in Perth in 2016. She also has a keen interest in research in pain medicine and anaesthesiology, and obtained her Masters of Clinical Investigation in 2017.
She has recently obtained a Graduate Diploma in Acupuncture and is actively involved as treasurer for the Pain Association Society of Singapore. She believes that pain is a crucial fifth vital sign and stresses on the multidisciplinary and holistic management of pain in both cancer and non-cancer patients.
