Assoc Prof Christopher CHEN Li Hsian

Assoc Prof Christopher Chen is a Senior Clinician-Scientist at the Departments of Pharmacology and Psychological Medicine, NUS Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine and Director of the Memory Aging and Cognition Centre.

                                   

His early medical and research training was at the Universities of Cambridge and Oxford as well as the Institute of Neurology, London.

Since returning to Singapore, Dr Chen has developed multidisciplinary research programmes with extensive international collaborations. His major research and clinical interests are in neuroimaging, molecular biology and treatment of stroke and dementia. He has published over 400 peer reviewed papers, is the PI for several studies with cognitive outcomes, serves on journal editorial boards and has been a member of trial steering committees and advisory panels.

                                   

Currently, he is President of the Asian Society Against Dementia, Secretary-Treasurer of the Asian and Oceanian Association of Neurology and the previous Chair of the International Society for Vascular Behavioural and Cognitive Disorders.
