Assoc Prof Chan Ling Ling is a Senior Consultant in the Department of Diagnostic Radiology (DDR), SGH, and an Associate Professor at the Duke-NUS Medical School Singapore. After her specialist accreditation in Diagnostic Radiology, she completed her Neuroradiology fellowship at The Baylor College of Medicine and University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Centre, Houston, Texas.

As senior faculty of the DDR Neuroradiology service, she works closely with the Radiological Sciences team to support clinical service, and has been instrumental in translating novel and cutting-edge neuroimaging techniques into clinical service to address clinical problems.

Assoc Prof Chan is also a faculty in the SingHealth Residency programme, involved in clinical teaching of residents and fellows, and the MMed-FRCR 2B Exams. Dr Chan is the Department’s Director of Research, a Clinician Scientist awardee, Principal Investigator and collaborator of multiple national grants, and leads a neuroimaging research lab focusing on chronic neurological diseases. She has 3057 citations, an i10-index of 89 and h-index of 30, and had won/led multiple scientific awards at radiological conferences including the RSNA, AOCR and ISMRM.

She serves on the Ministry of Health’s research accreditation panel and editorial board of Annals, Academy of Medicine, Singapore. She was the Honorary Secretary, Singapore Radiological Society and is the current Treasurer of its Neuroradiology Subsection.
