Richard Poh Choon Hui is Director of Operations at the Communicable Disease Agency. He was previously a senior SAF officer with over two decades of experience spanning defence, operations, and public health. During COVID-19, Richard led contact tracing operations at the national level, overseeing the deployment of key digital tools such as TraceTogether and Safe Entry. With this experience, he had co-published articles on the usage of digital Contact Tracing system in Singapore to mitigate Covid 19 spread. He also played a pivotal role in the establishment of the new Communicable Disease Agency (CDA), contributing to its strategy, operations, and IT development.
