Rapid diagnostic tests and antigen-based tests for diseases like COVID-19 and other infections offer fast and low cost alternatives to laboratory methods, but their implementation faces significant infection prevention and control challenges. In this talk, Asst Prof Nicholas Wong will discuss the key challenges with rapid tests and how to mitigate these challenges.
