SingHealth's various hospitals and institutions have long acknowledged the importance of leadership development, and have established various initiatives to train their staff.
In 2016, Human Resource departments from across SingHealth, recognising the need to harmonise staff competencies and training across the cluster, collectively developed the SingHealth Competency Framework for Leadership and Healthcare Administration.
The competency framework aims to provide a structured roadmap for the development and systematic progression of staff involved in administration and leadership in SingHealth.
