Interprofessional Collaboration

Interprofessional education and collaboration in healthcare involve students and professionals across different disciplines learning about, with and from each other, and working together to improve the quality of patient care. 

The Interprofessional section in CCP aims to: 

1. Foster interprofessional collaboration between Pharmacy, Allied Health, Medicine, Nursing and other relevant healthcare professionals to enhance patient care and outcomes. 
2. Be involved in joint training programmes, simulations, and experiential learning opportunities that emphasize teamwork, communication and shared decision-making in clinical setting. 
3. Support the creation of interprofessional practice models that integrate Pharmacy expertise into multidisciplinary healthcare teams, promoting a holistic approach to patient care. 
4. Encourage cross-sharing of best practices and experiences to address common challenges, foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation in Pharmacy education.
