This course aims to equip nurses with knowledge and skills to interpret and respond to abnormal ECG rhythms in the clinical settings.
This course is organised by SingHealth Alice Lee Institute of Advanced Nursing.
Course Outline:
- Describe the Fundamentals of ECG
- Calculate the heart rate
- Outline the approach to rhythm analysis, recognise the 6 steps for rhythm analysis
- Identify and interpret Atrial arrhythmias
- Identify and interpret Heart Blocks
- Identify and interpret Ventricular Arrhythmias
Target Audience:
Registered Nurses and Enrolled Nurses with at least 6 months working experience in clinical settings.
Exclusion Criteria:
RNs with Advanced Diploma in Critical Care, Medical-Surgical & Emergency Nursing
