The formation of the College of Clinical Medicine (CCM) is a dream come true for the clinicians and clinician educators at SingHealth who are strong advocates that the education and training of the physicians of the future is best delivered in a continuum.

The changing demographics of our society and the growing complexity of care calls for a concerted effort to train across the continuum, from undergraduate and beyond, to equip and empower future healthcare providers so that they can fully realise their roles in the future healthcare landscape. Interprofessional collaborative practice is also pivotal to optimise patient experiences and outcomes, and better utilise resources.

CCM aims to be a critical bridge connecting the Academic Clinical Programmes and other SingHealth Academy Colleges to advocate interprofessional education and collaborative practice among current practitioners, as well as to facilitate interprofessional education for future healthcare providers.
