Associate Professor Ng Yih Yng is an emergency physician and public health specialist by training, in the Department of Preventive and Population Medicine, Tan Tock Seng Hospital. He is the Deputy Clinical Director of the Centre for Healthcare Innovation (CHI) and the Director of the Digital and Smart Health Office of CHI.
At LKC Medicine, he is the Clinical Director of the LKC-NTU WHO Collaborating Centre for Digital Health & Health Education and an implementation lead for the Centre for AI Medicine.
He has a cosmopolitan career in healthcare, spanning the Ministry of Defence, Health, Home Affairs and has implemented numerous public health interventions in the Singapore Armed Forces and the Singapore Civil Defence Force such as the 995 dispatcher assisted CPR programme, national public housing AED programme and the reorganisation of the Singapore EMS system.
Dr Yih Yng has an academic interest in resuscitation, emergency medical services and digital health; he has over a hundred peer-review publications and lectures on these topics internationally.
