Assoc Prof Yeo Khung Keong is a senior consultant cardiologist and interventional cardiologist in the department of cardiology and leads the MitraClip programme at the NHCS. He is a Clinical Associate Professor with Duke-NUS Medical School Singapore and is the Scientific Lead for the Clinical Sciences and Database Core at the National Heart Research Institute Singapore. He is also the Deputy Group Chief Medical Informatics Officer (Research) for SingHealth. Assoc Prof Yeo previously served as the Programme Director of the SingHealth Cardiology Senior Residency Programme and was also the Academic Vice-Chair (Training and Education) for the SingHealth Duke-NUS Cardiovascular Academic Clinical Programme.
He is a member of the Singapore Cardiac Society; and is a Fellow of the European Society of Cardiology (FESC), American Heart Association (FAHA), American College of Cardiology (FACC), the Asian Pacific Society of Cardiology (FAPSC), the Asian Pacific Society of Interventional Cardiology (FAPSIC), and the Society of Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions (FSCAI). Assoc Prof Yeo is the Past-Chair of the Chapter of Cardiologists, Academy of Medicine Singapore, and the Chair of the Scientific Advisory Board for the Asian Pacific Society of Cardiology. He is the Principal Investigator of the SingCLOUD and SingHEART studies.
